Finding Hobbies You Love To Better Your Life

I normally do not make, “New Year Resolutions,” and have decided 2017 won’t be any different. I will however, continue to make goals for myself. In 2017 I have have a goal to create hobbies for myself that will enrich my life.

The first hobby I would like to focus on is trying to find something I love to do, while making money doing it. I love my job and will continue to pour my heart into my work, but I will also find a hobby I enjoy doing to make more money. Money is important. As I get older, I can see that money doesn’t buy happiness, but it sure can buy a lot of fun and added life perks!

The next hobby I will find is something that includes physical activity. I will start by trying out this dance fitness class I’ve been putting off because I’m afraid I’ll look like a fool trying to dance. I’m not the most graceful person and I have some weight to lose, believe it or not – I’m on the self conscious side so I’m going to step out and give it a try. If that doesn’t work, I WILL find something I enjoy doing that includes physical activity/exercise.

Lastly, I will make time to be more creative. I’ve authored many articles and I’ve contributed to many published books. I really enjoy that but the past couple of years I was too bogged down to work on writing. I think writing may be a part of the “more creative” side of things in 2017.

Also, as a side note: I’m excited because I recently met someone that fits the bill on what I’ve been looking for in a business partner… more info coming soon if that whole deal works out. 🙂

The important thing to remember is life is short. Find something you love to do and do it if it betters your life. If you aren’t happy, whats the point? What are your 2017 goals? You don’t have to share them with the world, but if you want to meet those goals – write them down someplace for yourself. Remind yourself every day of what you want and go get it!
