We learn from Esther to have faith in God, that he knows best and if we will allow him to use us, great things will be done for his glory and our house will be saved. If we chose not to, it is no big deal to him, he will find someone else to accomplish what he wants. There will always be someone that is open to God and will allow God to use him. So why not you??? why not me??? In Luke 1:38 Mary was a willing vessel – And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her. Do you think if she said no God would have just let it go. NO there would have been someone else. But I do believe that God knew from the beginning that she would say yes. That she too was made “for such a time as this”. We all are…the questions is will be allow ourselves to be used?

I agree that people are becoming too reliant on “free handouts” from the government. It wouldn’t be so bad if everyone understood the true cost of those free gifts that they get… the increase in taxes and inflation on common market items.

That’s all I really have to say about this. Like your dad said, “nothing is really free.”
